WARRANTY

Gamechanger Audio products have a warranty of one year or longer if required by the relevant legislation. Gamechanger Audio pedals can be registered for an extended lifetime warranty. The extended lifetime warranty is not applicable to the MOTOR Synth and the PLASMA Rack.

Please follow the link to register your Gamechanger Audio pedal. As soon as the pedal is registered, it will be valid for the lifetime warranty.

Second-hand purchased Gamechanger Audio pedals don’t fall under lifetime warranty extension.

Please write an email to [email protected] providing a detailed description of the issue of the product and what kind of power supply you were using. Please specify the serial number of the unit and where did you purchase it. If you've bought the unit from us, please specify the order ID as well.

If you've received a defective device that falls under warranty conditions you can exchange it for a new one at the authorized dealer from which you purchased the unit. If you've ordered the unit from Gamechanger Audio directly, we'll organize an exchange for a new one within five business days.

If the device is damaged due to improper usage, such as using a power supply with a higher voltage than the user's manual says, you can inquire about servicing the unit for a fee.

SHIPPING

Typically orders are processed and sent the next business day. Depending on the shipping service you choose, you will get the goods in 2-5 business days from the moment you've received the tracking ID.

As soon as your order is processed you will receive an email saying that your order has been completed. Usually, within a business day, another email with tracking info will follow. As well, you will receive additional emails about upgraded tracking information. If you have any questions regarding the shipping progress, you can write an email to us at [email protected]. Please make sure to specify the order ID when the order was placed.

If the order hasn't been dispatched it is possible to change the delivery address to a new one in the same country.

But if your order has already been shipped the delivery address can't be changed.

Usually, we work with UPS and FedEx. Other shipping methods will only be considered for locations not covered by UPS and FedEx.

It is possible to select an option for signed delivery.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Within 30 days from the moment you've received your order you can return it (with an exception of merchandise). To return it, please get in touch with us via email [email protected] and we will provide you with further details and return label.

Yes, you'll be provided with a tracking number with the shipping label.

We usually work with DHL or DHL authorized shipping services.

As soon as we'll receive your return, we'll proceed with the refund.

CUSTOMS & TAXES

If you're in the United Kingdom, upon delivery you will have to pay customs fees and taxes. We offer two options.

  1. We handle all the paperwork and customs payments by the time of ordering. There are no additional payments for this service. The pedal will arrive at your door. We recommend this option as it's quick and simple.
  2. Another option is more beneficial for business customers with a valid VAT number. The paperwork and taxes are your responsibility.

If you're in the United States, upon delivery you will not have to pay customs fees unless the order is more than 800 USD.

Sales tax is not imposed nor during the checkout, nor upon delivery.

“Up to $1,600 in goods will be duty-free under your personal exemption if the merchandise is from an IP. Up to $800 in goods will be duty-free if it is from a CBI or Andean country. Any additional amount, up to $1,000, in goods will be dutiable at a flat rate (3%)”

If you're in Canada, upon delivery you will have to pay a GST tax of 5%. The rate may differ depending on the state.

“Any item mailed to Canada may be subject to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and/or duty. Unless specifically exempted, you must pay the 5% GST on items you import into Canada by mail. The CBSA calculates any duties owing based on the value of the goods in Canadian funds.”

If you're in the European Union, no customs fees or extra taxes will be applied upon delivery. Entering a valid company VAT number provides VAT tax deduction,

If you're in Switzerland or Norway, no customs fees or taxes will be applied during checkout and upon delivery.

OTHER GENERAL QUESTIONS

Gamechanger Audio pedals require a standard pedal power supply - Barrel plug - 2.1 x 5.5 mm with a center-negative polarity with 9V DC and at least 250mA.

Essential aspects of power supplies:

The mA output can be higher as it won't damage the unit. On the other hand, if the amperage on the power supply is specified lower than 250mA, the scheme will lack the juice; and, the unit won't work properly. For example, unpredictable LED light blinking, not producing any sound or similar malfunctions.

Voltage - using anything other than a 9 V DC power supply, may cause damage to the unit and void the warranty.

We suggest using only power supplies designed for musical equipment. As they have lower overall electrical interference.

Using a universal power supply (one which is not specifically designed for music equipment) can introduce noise artifacts into the audio signal chain.

It is possible to power more than one guitar pedal with a single power supply. For that, you will need a daisy chain cable with a standard barrel plug type ( 2.1 x 5.5 mm).

A few rules and tips to follow:

  1. Be sure all the pedals in the daisy chain require the same voltage. For example, if one pedal requires 9 V, but another requires 12 V, they can't be powered using a common daisy-chain. The voltage of all the pedals and the adapter must be the same. Usually, the voltage is specified next to the power input of the pedal.

Applying incorrect voltage will damage the pedals.

  2. The power supply should provide enough amperage (mA). Using a daisy-chain, it should be at least the combined amperage among pedals in the daisy-chain.

For example, if you'd want to power the PLUS Pedal which requires 9 V and 250 mA, and the LIGHT Pedal which requires 9 V and 500 mA, you would need an adapter that provides 9 V and at least 750 mA (500 mA + 250 mA). As mentioned earlier - voltage should match, amperage gets summed.

REMEMBER! Applying voltage that's too high will damage pedals. Using too high amperage, won't damage the pedals.

  3. The polarity on barrel plugs must match! All Gamechanger Audio pedals require center negative polarity. Center positive can't be mixed with center negative. For example, if one pedal requires a center-negative polarity but another a center positive, you can't use power them with a daisy-chain power.

Using a center-positive polarity when a negative is required - will damage the pedal.

Note:
Usually, people don't use a daisy chain solution to power both digital and analog devices. That may lift the overall noise level / may add an audible hum.

Instrument cable - TS cable
Used from instrument to pedal or from pedal to pedal. The abbreviation TS stands for TIP and SLEEVE. TS cables are being used to send an unbalanced mono signal.

If you wish to connect your foot-switch to the PLUS Pedal, you'll need another kind of cable - TRS cable.

TRS abbreviation stands for TIP, RING, and SLEEVE. The added conductor RING offers to send higher signals via TRS cables. Either balanced mono signals or stereo signals. And as they provide twice as much signal, TRS cables are usually used for controlling with external foot-switches or expression pedals.

How are they visually different?

Visually the easiest way to distinguish a TS from TRS jacks would be looking at how many rings one has. If it's a single - TS cable. If two of them - TRS cable.
