LATCH

The KEYPAD's LATCH mode can be activated by pressing the Dedicated LATCH Button next to the ALT Key.

In LATCH Mode all notes activated on the MOTOR Synth’s KEYPAD will hold their ON State indefinitely (indicated by the red KEY illumination).
Press the active KEY again to return to the OFF State - at this point the Note will enter its respective Amp Envelope Decay or Release stage
LATCH does not apply to notes that are triggered via MIDI or external Controllers.

When Keys on the KEYPAD are LATCHED you can use the PITCH Encoders to detune them in different ways.
The LATCH mode is great for creating drones, but you need to take into consideration that the MOTOR Synth
is limited to a maximum of four note polyphony and that Note stealing will occur when all polyphony slots are full. (see POLYPHONY SETUP)

LATCH can also be used in ARP MODE to hold NOTE patterns in place (see section ARP ENGINE).

LATCH Bypass:
When LATCH is ON you can temporarily re-trigger notes that are already LATCHED, or to play new momentary notes,
by holding ALT and pressing KEYS on the KEYPAD.
